Checked Tablecloth
This is some fabric that we bought to decorate for a graduation party last month. We bought a ton of it and just cut the fabric into sizes that we needed for various tables and basket linings. It was quick and it looked cute for the party. Since I’m me, and I didn’t want to get rid of the fabric after the party was over, I decided to wash it and make a tablecloth and a few napkins. I really wanted to use yellow dingle balls {at least that’s what I call them} for this project. A few days after I had that thought, yellow dingle balls came up on Pick Your Plum! It was my lucky day! Here’s what I started with.
I cut a piece of the fabric to fit my picnic table and sewed on the dingle balls. For the napkins, I just cut out big squares and hemmed them. It looks just like I imagined it.
