This was my project while I was waiting for my son to take his violin lesson. It’s only a half hour, so there isn’t really enough time to go anywhere. It made perfect sense to grab a few supplies and think of something to make while I was sitting in the car. This was one of those iPhone photography projects. Here’s what I came up with:

Christmas tree headband

I couldn’t find a model when I got home, so I used this stuffed animal. Let’s see if anyone in my family reads my blog…

I started with a few supplies…

Cut out two layers of a tree shape and stitched them together…

Added some sequins and a bit of glue to keep them from sliding and sewed to one of these black headbands. I like these headbands because they are really comfy and stretchy, so they fit kids and adults.

This didn’t take very long – I even had time to return a few emails while I waited. If you make one soon, this seasonal project can be worn lots of times before we’re out of the Christmas season. Enjoy!
