Today’s post is written by my daughter, who recently spun a bad situation into a good one. Keep reading to see how she saved her shirt from the landfill.
Clothes in my house have the tendency to either run away or completely demolish themselves in our laundry. When one of my favorite shirts came out of the wash with a bleach spot on the front I was crushed. I quickly came up with a solution, though: bleach the entire thing. I took a squirt bottle full of bleach to my precious shirt and went to town, covering the whole thing with random spurts of bleach. I think it turned out pretty cool and it saved me from having to throw the shirt away.
Betsy here. Isn’t that a great way to resurrect a ruined shirt? Reminds me of one of my favorite war time sayings: Use it up, Wear it out, Make it do, or Do without. Nice job, honey!
