fleur-de-lis jewelry organizer

Here we have your standard issue picture frame turned jewelry holder project. This is a frame that was just sitting in my basement until I decided to upcycle it and give it a new life. I painted the frame black and cut out a couple of layers of cardboard to put where the glass was supposed to go. To make this a little different, I used the cutouts from a stencil that I created and spray painted a piece of paper that was the same size as my frame. So it looks like a reverse fleur-de-lis. I used some spray tack and laid out the pieces of the fleur-de-lis on the paper, then spray painted it. Once the paper was dry, I peeled the stencil cutout pieces off the paper and assembled the cardboard and painted paper into the frame, added some sewing pins, and that’s it. I like this because I can change out the paper to give it a different look. The possibilities are endless!
