Fringe Flower Headband
So, I’ve officially turned into one of those crafting ladies who carries around a bag of her current project supplies just in case she has an idle moment. I carpooled to work and got there much too early to start working, and it was a beautiful morning on top of that…so I decided to sit outside, drink coffee and craft. It was perfectly lovely. I made two headbands. One was from some fringe I’ve had in my supplies for years. I originally used it to trim a tablecloth that we still use. The other was made from the dingle balls I got from Pick Your Plum the other day. For both, I just rolled up the trim, sewed it together, then sewed it to the headband. The fringe was about six inches worth and once it was attached to the headband I took out the red thread that was holding the fringe in place. I like to sew embellishments right onto the seam of the headband so I don’t ever have to worry about it showing. For the dingle balls, I used about a foot to get my flower this size.
