Valentine’s Wall Art
If you’ve been around for a while you know that I’ve been using this vintage wire picture frame to display seasonal wall art that I’ve created out of felt. The first two are here and here. With Valentine’s Day being the next big holiday, I started to think about who fills my heart. Well, Brian does, along with the three children who have been brought into the world because of our love. That led me to create this Valentine’s Wall Art. It’s made of tall skinny pink hearts filled with the letters to spell out family. The pompoms from my craft supply added a festive touch. I didn’t buy anything for this project. Everything was made from scraps and pieces I had on hand. As with the other months, I kept the same red fabric with white polka dots as the background. I wonder if I can make the red last the whole year without changing it out? St. Patrick’s Day and Easter might be too tricky. I digress. Anyway, I sprayed some repositionable adhesive on the red background and stuck the felt to it. It’s easy to peel off when I’m ready to change it for the next holiday.

Really like it! Simple and beautiful. I recently “discovered” felt as a material and all the possibilities it offers.
Thanks! Felt is very versatile.
What a wonderful outlook you have about your family. People sometimes do forget they had children out of their love for each other. So glad to read that in your post. Really love your wall art and how smart to keep changing out the holiday but keep the same frame and background.
Thank you for the kind comment, JaneEllen. You are clearly a thoughtful person. I hope your day is great!
How sweet! I love that you are re-purposing a few things here as well
Thanks so much for sharing this on Waste Not Want Not Wednesday!
Thanks, Danielle! So often the simple way is also the frugal way. I love re-using and re-purposing things. Thank for hosting the link party.

Thank you for asking. I do not know what happened to that button. I’ve tried putting it back on this morning and it’s not working properly. I’ll have to keep trying. In the meantime, feel free to follow along on Facebook, as I often put the links to new posts there. Thanks for the heads up!
Hi JaneEllen! I fixed the email subscribe button. Thanks again for asking about it.
