We believe. It has so many meanings. Miracle on 34th Street is one of my favorite movies. I love the We believe part of that movie where people from all walks of life show that they believe in Santa Claus. We believe at our house, too. Yes, our kids are in high school and college now. But we still believe. For us, we believe in the spirit of Santa Claus. Known for giving of himself just to make the world a better place, without expectation of reciprocity, he sounds an awful lot like the real reason for the season. And we believe in Him, too.
To make this, I cut out pieces of felt in the shapes of the letters and sewed them on to another piece of felt with my sewing machine. Then I cut the white felt into the bubble shape and sewed it on to the gray piece of felt. I used a piece of red polka dot fabric as the background on this vintage frame, then used spray tack to attach the felt. This is the same frame I’ve used for other projects, so it’s easy to peel off the felt and change the designs for different seasons. Easy and inexpensive.
