Tea Cup Clips for Party Favors
Welcome to this week’s Wear It On Your Head Wednesday! This week I’m featuring a project that I did for my niece, who just turned 5. These were part of the party favors at her Royal Princess Tea Party. I cut the shapes out of felt. I cut a solid piece for the bottom, and the top piece had the handle cut out. I added hearts or swirly things for decoration.
Then I cut a slit in the back of the teacup so I could insert a clip. I glued the pieces together with E6000 glue. While the glue was wet, I slipped one side of the clip in through the slit, and between the two pieces of felt. That’s it. Tea cup clips for a court of royal princesses!
For her gift, I made this gift bag, and with a dress-up outfit, I included this scarf, so the birthday girl would have something extra special to wear for her Royal Princess Tea Party. Have you had a tea party for your girlie?
